POLL: Which processor do you use

It seems like everybody is using A64 these days, at least on these forums. No matter where you look, someone's got an A64. So, I'd like to see what processors people in here actually use, and how many still use something else besides A64?

P4 Prescott in my primary rig.
A64 3200 s754 in my notebook.

Likely, my next machine will be built around an A64 chip though.

Just go by the socket. If it's socket 754, then put it in the A64 category. I know it doesnt have the 64-bit instruction set, but that's not the reason why people buy A64, now is it? 😉

Well, I got a barton too. At 2.5ghz, I dunno, it must be like a 3600+ or something. I might go to A64 too, but I'm waiting for the dualies.

Running socket A 2500 barton but have a 939 venice 3200 waiting for the weekend to get installed. Parents are patiently waiting for the barton to upgrade a few generations from their macintosh 6000 series Performa. Making a SFF for them

A64 as of last week. I dont have a main comp right now. And sometime in june I'll either upgrade my A64 or move to a P-M, depending mostly on how well my P-M clocks and performs.

3.4Ghz prescott @3.82ghz in main rig
3.2ghz ES prescott @3.46ghz in my PVR rig
3.06ghz northwood @3.45ghz in my backup gaming rig
1.6ghz mobile northwood @2.1ghz in my quiet computer

hmm, AMD users seem to surge far ahead as compared to Intel users..
But Intel doesn't seem very affected at all.

Pentium 133 in a Packard Bell
K6 233 on a FIC PA-2011
Dual Celeron 366 on a Abit BP-6
Pentium II 333 on a Primeo 212E
AMD Thunderbird 600@900 on a KT7A-Raid
AMD Sempron 3100+@2300 on a K8NS-Pro (Retail HS/Fan)
AMD A64 Venice Rev.E 3000+@? on a EpoX 9NDA3+ (CPU on order)

All still up and running, all being used for something... 🙂
