Are you getting a 9' table? If not, then why even bother imo.

Robinson, similar to the E61 model. I dont have the diamonds between the points or the rings on mine.

I wouldn't buy a table new. There are too many great deals to be had on local used ones. People get them and realize that they take up about the same space as a car in your house. Not to mention the space around it that you need to keep clear to play. Then they sell them at a big loss. We got a pretty good table for $100. It wasn't ornate like those, but it was a full size table and dirt cheap. The real problem then is moving it. We hired a moving company. They brought in 4 huge guys (much bigger than all of my computer geek friends combined), and they lifted it up over a balcony.

I've got a ~15 year old Meucci I won - it's the only cue I have that's worth a damn or a dime.
For the OP - I of your picks, I prefer option one, but I really prefer both of the picks from OdiN to either of yours, especially the Manhattan. Better yet would be the Sedona - it looks similar to/the same as the Manhattan but in a brown finish.

John has been making cues for a VERY long time, he is the only guy out there as far as I still know that actually dyes his ivory, he also uses a backwards joint where the shaft holds the pin that screws into the forearm.

Sounds cool. My dad is a collector, I will ask him about the Robinson (i'm sure he'll buy one after i ask too)
My brother makes cues, but he doesn't sell them![]()
