Shuttle AV45GTR (P4X266A chipset w/Highpoint Raid) - $71

Gigabyte 8IEXP (Promise Raid) - $130

Soyo SYP4X400 (P4X400 chipset, with Highpoint Raid) - $165

Soyo P4S Ultra Dragon 333 (SiS 645 chipset with Highpoint Raid) - $130

Raid is a must and onboard LAN would be nice. Don't care for any other onboard features though. Will be a mild OCer (never done it before, but considering playing around a bit). Would like to keep cost down, but not so much that I risk needed a new mobo in a year.

The gigabyte 8IEXP but also consider Epox 4g4A+ and Abit Bd7-R. Both have lan, sound and raid onboard. Epox also has video onboard. Both should be available under $120.

For cheap go with the Shuttle. If you want the top of the line with all the bells and whistles, then go with the Soyo SYP4X400.

I have a Gigabyte 8IEXP. Performs great. I don't use the RAID features, but runs rock solid. I've thought many times of getting an ASUS or EPOX, but I have had no problems with the Mobo whatsoever.

Same situation here, not using the RAID, but stable board. Couldn't afford the Asus and not farmilar with Epox. Great board, very stable.
