<< <<Where did the poll say anything about a desktop OS?>>

It doesn't, but i assumed Linux was not a desktop operating system. :)

Never assume, it makes an ass out of you and... well in this case just you ;)

As someone that sports the tux avatar, you should be well aware that linux is being used all over the place.

Win98se

It works great for me, no headaches, problems, software, or driver issues.

My mind is stuck in the 90's I guess.

This poll is really sad in comparison to my definitive OS poll from 12/31/01 that, unfortunately, has expired. I was going to recreate it soon, perhaps I still will.

In the meantime, please add, at the very least, these OS's:

Other BSD
MacOS 1-9 (not X)
Windows 1.0-3.11
Windows NT 3.1-3.51
Windows NT 4.0
HPUX
BeOS
QNX
VMS
OS/2
AtheOS
NeXT
RiscOS
AmigaOS

Until these operating systems are added, I consider this poll invalid.

Wow, is XP so great the twice the amount of people use that than 2000? I'm surprised. I thought it would be nearly equal. A lot of early adopters here, I guess.

BTW, I'm still using 2000.
