Not been the cinema in ages so decided to go along with my girlfriend tonight. There seems to be lots of good films out which one should we go and see?

Please choose one of the above because they are the only decent things on at my local cinema at the moment.

Also, a quick reply as to why would be much appreciated 🙂

I voted for Mothman b/c it's scary as f**k. Take a date.

Ocean's Eleven is good if you want a fairly well done crime/comedy movie.

Ali "sucks balls" says EVERYONE that I know whose seen it. I've yet to hear one positive thing about the movie.

Lord of the Rings is good if you want to use up your entire evening. Worth watching if you like Fantasy though.

Others to consider (independent movies):
Amelie (Absolutely beautiful movie. Everyone should see this)
No Man's Land (Bosnian film that's gotten a lot of positive press)
mean Machine (starring Vinny Jones from Snatch and Lock Stock)
 
LOTR is scary, too. Geez, who voted for Ocean's 11 over LOTR? Bah.

Yeah, I haven't seen it yet for one reason for another, just cannot ever seem to make the time. She would like to go and see it too though so its a good possibility for tonight 🙂
 
John Q. NUF SAID. I hate Denzel Washington but I think he has found his nitch. This is a great movie only in my opinion and my wife's opinion.

Oceans Eleven is a remake of a classic, so it's not exactly new.(great video rental movie)
Mothman would be good if your in the mood for a creepy movie.
 
You have to see LOTR on the big screen, just like you'd have to see Star Wars, The Matrix and Braveheart on the big screen.

My second vote goes for Ocean's Eleven.
 
LOTR LOTR LOTR LOTR without doubt, you should watch it on big screen before it leaves the theatres...miss it and you've missed one of the joys of life...
