Papa johns is not the best pizza you can buy. It's not bad at all, and certainly nowhere near the bottom but there are better of course. Like everything else in life, there is always something better.

edit: im not in any way saying that doms is better than papa johns
 
I would vote for Blackjack (local to colorado) they must use MSG because an hour or so after eating their pizza i am dying of thirst.
 
I honestly don't like any of the major pizza places 🙁

Papa jons would have to be my favorite simply because of that garlic sauce.. tasty 😀

Edit: What's amazing is that around the corner, on one block we have:

- Domino's

- Pizza Hut

- a hole-in-the-wall place ranked by a local newspaper as being one of the top 500 Italian restaurants in NYC or something like that (whatever it was put good, old George's into the top 1% or so of Italian places in NYC)

Plus, two blocks away is Papa John's (and there are other local small places -- come on, it's NYC).
 
I don't mind Pizza Hut too much. it's not good pizza, but there's so much butter and fried goodness that it's eadible (if heart-attack enducing).

Mountain Mikes is good stuff. We have one in Manteca. We also have a me-n-ed's pizzaria.
 
Some of the worst:

- Dominos Pizza - Nothing like it was 15-20 years ago when they made some pretty good pizza.
- Little Caesars Pizza (fortunately, there are none left in my area)
- Pizza Bolis - man, that is some shaitty pizza.

 
i'd say dominos... tastes like there was no heart put into it... just toppings on cheese and some random in-house recipe for sauce... but it's damn good whenever I'm hungry. Pizza Hut is too far away.
