POLL: Which is the better heatsink to get?

I need to buy a new heatsink soon to replace my cheap Volcano6Cu. I'm stuck between Alpha PAL8045 and AX-7 because they are both cheap, reliable, and perform incredibly well. If you can think of any other better heatsinks than these, please feel free to leave some comments. Thanks a lot!

my alpha pal 8045 is the best i've seen for the money. Get one of those new panaflos with the magnetic bearings, it's silent😀

The Swiftech MCX-370 or MCX-462 are also great. I'm using a 462, but I would get a 370 because installing the 370 doesn't require removing the motherboard (pain in the butt).

Btw, were can I get the Panaflos with magnetic bearings? What model numbers are they? Specs?

Instead of replacing the Volcano6cu, why not just replace the standard noisy fan and slap on a 80mm ditto? That's what I did on my Volcano6cu (Y.S. TECH 55S 80mm) and both the temp and noise went way down.
It's an option anyway.

I love my SK6 - fairly quiet (I hooked up an 80 mm fan to it), great performance, and not too big. I don't like the huge heat sinks - they're hard to mount and you run into problems with certain motherboards, and I don't see a lot of performance benfit over the much smaller SK6. That, and the SK6 with a delta is $25 on newegg. Friendly to the wallet. =)

best heatsink for me is a danger den maze 2 water block.........

i have also used the alpha 8045 heatsink and found the mounting setup to be a problem. so i changed that over to studs like a water block uses . it works like it should and does the job nicely
