Which is the greatest fight of the greatest fighter of all time? for me it was w/o question the rumble in the jungle. in this fight, ali took a fighter who was clearly better than him physically and totally outwitted him. the ropa dope and the hanging on and draggin foreman down, it was genius. he took foreman who was and probably still is the hardest puncher ever and totally neutralized it. in my opinion he was better than liston and Frazier. but in foreman he faced the better fighter and beat him.

that was the genius of Ali. who would of figured that Ali on the ropes would beat foreman? You asked anyone before the fight this question "If 80% of the fight is on the ropes, who would win?" and i guarantee you 90% of the people woulda said Foreman. this guy had more power than tyson in his prime. he could hit and hit hard and Ali took the best that foreman could dish and knocked him out in the 8th.

that's the thing about tyson, have you ever seen tyson take hits like that and come back?? No. he is notorious for losing when the other guy gets some good licks in. he just sux for inner strength and all that stuff. not many boxers could have taken as much punishment as ali did and still keep it all together.
Ali is the GOD of boxing.
