I like the fact that Dirty Jobs profiles the jobs/careers that people don't like to talk or think about. Hell, if you were on ATOT and had some of those jobs you would be ridiculed & flamed beyond recognition. I like the "blue collar" spotlight. 🙂

I'm a physics major and I don't have any problems with the way they do their experiments. What are you guys seeing that is so wrong? Sure they could be all proper and whatnot - but that'd make for some pretty bad TV.

God I hate Mythbusters... They've run out of things to bust. The first season was amusing but not they're just making crap up.
 
Mythbusters used to be good, now it just sucks. I think they're just making up myths now, any of the good ones where finding out the truth was actually intriguing, were done within the first season or so. Not to mention, they seem to make even more half assed attempts these days when they could try harder to bust a myth

Well the one that I doubt I'll ever forget is how they perform horse breeding.
1) Get male stud to screw an oversized fleshlight
2) Put that into a sirenge and impregnate female
3) Give mother and surrogate mother enemas and exchange the baby

This way the best of breed females can spit out multiple colts in a year.

Other jobs I remember seeing:
Roadkill collector
Septic Tank cleaner
Sewer Inspector

EDIT: I vote Dirty Jobs over MB, that show just seems to lack something for me, I'd rather watch Junkyard Wars.

Hot tar roofer, crawfish 'farmer', sewer inspector, garbage collector, etc...
