Here's a pic of my Z just after a fresh wash: Click Me!

My 2nd choice would be Silverstone, I've seen pics of a Silverstone with Gunmetal wheels with polished lip and it just looks SICK! Regardless, you'll love this car!

I picked blue! The dealer located me one about 2 hours away at a dealer. They got it into inventory on 3/19 but the bad thing is they replaced the stock wheels with chrome ones :( I'm requesting them to change it back to non-chrome.

It'll be here by next week at the latest :D yay!

Your pictures kind of suck, as they're only side view...

But Silver I believe is the best; because silver cars show the lines and curves of a body boldly, and looks very clean.

they're pictures from the nissan website, I chose them because they would show the car from the same angle.

Edit: looked around on Google. Brickyard Red for the 350Z was apparently discontinued due to lack of demand.

Personally, I'd go with black. It looks awesome. Yeah, it's a pain to keep clean, but with a car like that you're going to be taking really good care of it anyway.

I  the brickyard color.
I'd go with that but it's discontinued so I'd have to say black.
Black cars with dark tint look pimp.

To think you'd even mention the M3, Vette and Mutang in a discussion about that fat turd of a 350 is utterly disgusting.
Japanese engineering is NOT Detroit Iron or European finesse. And it never will be in the foreseeable future.

I agree that mentioning a Vette, M3, and Mustang along w/ the 350z is probably not right. BUT a 350z has 287 hp and weights 3200 compared to a mustang GT w/ 260 hp and weights 3241. (You're wrong that it's 3066; check here, and look at the footnotes).

So in other words your "Detriot Iron" is bulker and weaker AND built on a platform thats like 100 years old.

Um, no I believe you are wrong. Edmunds.com has the Mustang GT coupe listed with a Curb Weight: 3347 lbs. The convertible is even heavier. I've owned two Mustang GTs and both were well over 3000 lbs.

I believe Road & Track has done a couple of comparos between the 350Z and the Vette. What's wrong with that?

Well if the mustang is it's heavier than good.
And who cares if r&t compared a 350z and a vette. Not many people cross shop the two because of the price range. I believe car and driver once did a comparo w/ an M3, M5, and a 350z... (if it wasn't the z it was some other sports car).

here's a c&d comparo between a TT, mustang mach 1, S2000, and a 350z. (aka european refinement and detriot iron)
Text, guess who wins? :D

I can undertand that.. they are the 2 colors I wouldn't buy if I bought one :D

I'd buy white or black :)

To me white looks like a girl's car, especially on the Z. As for the black, I don't have the guts to get it because you'd have to wash that thing DAILY for it to look clean ;)

I got the manual enthusiast (base + LSD, traction control, and xenon headlights). The one I got added the splash guard (which I could do w/o) and the aero package which is a rear lip and a front air (plastic unpainted) dam. I like the rear lip on the Z, w/o it the rear looks bare. I think the only option I didn't get was the side air bags.

The NAV only comes in the Touring or Track models, and those are like an additional $5k - $6k more. :(

That's pretty much what I got, except I had the airbags. Have fun, we should start an ATOT Daytona Blue 350Z club, we've got 3 already :p

Mine again

thanks! Your dealer didn't drill the front bumper I see, mine did :(:(

I told him specifically that I'd refuse delivery if they did so. I also told them no dealer paraphernalia, but I did let them put on a license plate frame because it looked bland without.

I don't think so, I just don't think it'll be as classic as the blue. Sunset was my second choice though.
