heheh, my problem with red is that its very noticable. even though it may not be true but I believe that it's a cop target....

well yeah it is very noticeable... but thats the point... 😉 ...and its also proven that red is the fastest color... 😀

I'd take Silverstone (aka Platinum, aka Steel Gray) because I really like that color and I've never seen a 350Z in that color.

I thought the proof only showed Red of the familia Ferrarious-fastious-exotica was proven to be the fastest color 😀

lol... well if you cant afford that shade of red... i think nissan's version of red will do for the 350Z... 😀

I've always liked the Chrome Silver and Daytona Blue.

The Silverstone may look nice in the picture, but in person I think it's kinda dull; the car almost looks unpainted.

I was shopping out a 350 at one point. I was set to buy the silverstone. It is by far the classiest color. It is a deep, rich silver...very warm compared to most silvers which can be somewhat sterile. The blue just screams "look at me...i have a Z!" in a very cheap way.

I think the blue looks great.

I was on the preorder list for a chrome silver, and let it go. (I just didn't like the car that much) If I had preordered the blue, I might have actually kept it.

I'm (hopefully) about to buy a 350z, I have trouble deciding on the color. I like blue but that's the only color I have a preference for, but the other colors it's a toss up. I DON'T like red because it's a cop target. I don't like black and white because they look really dirty with even a little dust. In other words I don't like the other colors for practical reasons, not because of the actual color itself.

Anyways, pics:
Chrome Silver
Silverstone
Super Black
Daytona Blue
REDline
Le Mans Sunset
Pikes Peak White

edit: the funny thing is that my salesperson stated that blue and orange were the LEAST popular colors. I don't get it 😕

Bah, I had a red Mustang GT coupe and I didn't get nearly as many tickets as I did in my black GT convertible. Of course I was older when I had the red coupe but I still pushed that thing whenever I felt like it. I even had it up to 140mph once.

I do like the Daytona Blue. If I didn't have a child that would be the car I would own right now. I've given no small amount of thought to buying one anyway. I could keep the SUV hoopty, my wife can drive the '03 Maxima for a few more years and I could garage the 350Z and just drive it whenever the mood strikes me. Hmm...I may have to rethink things...
😀

BTW-A coworker of mine has a LeMans Sunset with the matching leather interior. It looks very nice. I've also seen a LeMans Sunset with 18" chrome wheels...That looks super hot. That would be my second choice.

Here is the car I'm talking about

I don't think your link does the LeMans Sunset justice.

To the person who commented that the blue makes the car look bulkier than it already is...This is not a bulky car. In fact it is pretty light. To get 5 second 0-60 times with a naturally aspirated V6 engine is pretty impressive.

I think he meant the car merely looks bulky (white flares, large hood, etc)... The car itself is actually pretty heavy; 3,200 lbs 🙁

I think a black w/ sunset leather would look very classy. But I'm not going for classy cruiser, I'm going for sporty... if that makes any sense 😕

my choice: Sunset 6MT Roadster 🙂

I wish I could just get a roadster to drive during the summer time but alas it'll be my primary car for a long time. That means year round and ragtop during rainy season is no fun 🙁

Not to mention it's more expensive.... I'm already breakin' the bank buying an enthusiast as is! 🙂

3200 lbs isn't too bad for a coupe this size. Name a sports car that weighs less...M3 weighs more, Vette weighs more, Mustang GT weighs a lot more. Maybe the WRX weighs less but I would be willing to bet that there aren't many people cross shopping the 350Z with a WRX.
