we do not know that. It's headed by Sid Meier, in case you weren't aware...

Read some about it in the latest PC Gamer. Being designed from the ground up, new graphics and everything.

I figured that the Civ line was over myself, but often such extended runs are a case of the same name being handed over to different development teams. The fact that Sid is running the show again stands out to me.

I was aware of that. I'm just complaining about the 3D interface. I highly doubt Civ needs a 3D interface; it will only serve to make the big picture (which we will be looking at most if not all the time) seem 'cartoonish' when compare to polished 2D graphics with nice animations.

But, who knows, maybe Sid will impress again.

yes but with a lot of pratice and patience you will be fine with III

I believe Atari is working on next Civ4..Hope it is better than the other two.
