I have both of these right now, I've been using the the Motorola T720 phone right now for about 5 days and it works pretty good. I just landed the Samsung x427 phone brand new today.

The only difference that I kind of like is that the Motorola phone has external caller ID, but that's not a big issue. I just want something that has good quality and is going to last me.

So which one do I keep? 😕
 
DO not get the motoroll 720 (now the 730 same phone new software).

it sucks. i really dont like the phone. it was on sale when i signed up with verizon.

Interesting......haven't had any problems with it yet...
 
I've got the samsung and it seems good enough.

The only downside is that there are only 5ish ringtones and wallpapers which come default on the phone, and none of them are masculine in any way. To get new ringtones and wallpapers you have to pay out of the ass to download them via the web over the phone.
 
No time to compare specs, but in terms of looks alone, the Samsung is better. I saw that T720 in the Verizon store and the buttons are such cheap plastic.

VX6000 is great - gone one for both fiancee and brother. I like to have uncommon phones so I personally didn't get it.

i've heard that Verizons version of the T720 is particularly bad but the others aren't so bad.

That's what I don't understand........my T720 is not that bad. 😕
 
I have both the Samsung E715 & E105 and I have to say they get the best RF out of every phone I've had.

i'm on my 3rd T720 because it keeps going bad and Verizon will swap it out for free. good CS i guess but a bad product.

i can't complain tho, i'd rather go in and spend the time getting the phone swapped than have to go in and buy a new phone.

Yea, my phone CRASHED on me today (the 720). Looks like I'm returning this POS and getting the better Samsung with the external caller ID (the x307).
