Hmmm. I don't know. I haven't done target practice since I was around 12-13. My uncle took me to a range and we used his rifle. I know I had fun, but I can't for the life of me remember what type of action it had. (I'm sure it wasn't break-open, but I don't remember whether I needed to do anything else between each shot.)

I also used to do a lot of BB shooting in my cousin's back yard with a 10-pump, and that was a PITA. Click-click (loading the next BB), pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pummp, pummmp, pummmmp, pummmmmp, aim, fire, repeat. . .
