POLL: When's the last you you rewinded?

last 6 months IIRC

we still have a VCR in our entertainment unit for recording shows 😱 :Q

i'd classify us as luddites compared to most modern couples. we don't have an ipod, a dvd burner, heck. i'm like at 1998 levels of technology

give me some money

rewinding live tv doesn't count? then i can't even remember when.. it's been at least 2 years if not more

Within the past year because I was taking some old VHS-C tapes and getting the video onto my computer. Other than that I'd say within 5.

My kids still have a few lingering VHS tapes, though the VCR does the automagical rewind, when the tape is done though. Moving forward does this synergize with your projected question and provide any value add?

Within the last 6 months ... I have a few VHS tapes I still enjoy pulling out from time to time. Everest IMAX, one on the appalachian trail, as well as a couple of Disney movies my wife owns.

Uhh... sure.
Stop speaking like my boss 😛

Still use tape all the time. Most video productions use tape (whether it's HDCAM, HDV, or DV*), DVD masters are usually delivered on DLT, and most people want video masters on some flavor of beta.

Wow, I read the thread title and was thinking it was "unwind" as in to relax.
Rewind??
On a similar note, I walked into the local (rural) video store to check out possible movies to rent....
"Where are the dvd's?"
"We only rent VHS"
"Whoa. I haven't had a VHS player connected to my television for about 4 years. Well, I'll be back when you have dvd's."

We have a new Sony dvd/vcr. The kids still watch vhs tapes from time to time.
Just a few days ago my daughter made us all sit down and watch a tape from my wedding.
