I listen to everything, but my main selection of music consists of Alternative. Bands such as Seether, Audioslave and Dezeray's Hammer. I want to take a poll to see what you other ATer's prefer.

I'm going to make a prediction that Alternative wins the poll.

Mostly rock and I guess alternative. I like new stuff (Chevelle, 30 Seconds to Mars, etc. I like Dezeray's Hammer a lot, too). and older stuff (Beatles, Rolling Stones, Hendrix, etc.).

Other, you forgot ROCK. I don't necessarily just like alternative (coldplay, Nirvana), and I'm not a classic rock fan (Doors, Zepplin, Floyd). I just like rock (Nickelback, Metallica, Saliva).

I voted "other"; while I listen to some trance/electronica, mostly I like a lot of '80s and some early '90s "new wave/modern rock" style music, along with "adult contemporary".. Not the same thing as "alternative", as I detest some of the crap that passes for alternative music these days.
