mine is translocator with the spider mine laying gun as a close second 😉

j/k, it's actually the shock rifle, the only gun that shows true skill in UT. If you can do a dodge combo, you're 1/2 133t, if you can do a moving straif combo, you're leet, if you can do a boot jump combo, you're uber 1337 😛

with these vehicles, I haven't figured out all the ways you can cause damage, I know running over someon 😉 or shooting the mounted guns/cannons definately, but I'm sure there's more ways to hurt someone with these vehicles :wink;
 
depends on the map....but generally the shock rifle or the sniper rifle. they need to get rid of the damned lightning gun already

go to the settings, click on 'weapons', choose the 'shock rifle' from the list, there's a check mark box for 'classic mode' to the right. enjoy!
 
I'm enjoying the grenade launcher. It's fun to lob one at someone and then right-click when the grenade is level with their head. 😀

duude..someone did that to me for the first time today...friggin scary..you can see the nade attached to the lower half of your screen...phok..and it implodes 🙁



i like the rocketlauncher by far btw.....

What's the actual difference during gameplay with this "classic" SR ?

 
Well, in UT2k3 I can be an awful bastard switching back and forth between the Lightning Gun and the Rocket Launcher. The rate at which you can switch weapons has been slowed considerably for UT2k4 though and I'm still adjusting. Since the power of the Shock combo has been toned down and I can only pick one, I'll have to say the Lightning Gun. Mininoobs and spammy Flak Monkeys feel free to die.
