In your opinion whats more important when it comes to naming a domain: a short, easy to type url or one thats more descriptive of the site?

What are some other considerations someone should keep in mind when naming a domain?

i dont like hyphens especially if there is a domain name taken similar to it without hyphens

i dont like to use a bunch of small words like and, of, or the. dont know why just bugs me. i dont want to have to combine like 4 or more separate words.

thats interesting, I was actually considering using hyphens but if its kind of a pain to type I may leave it out

I think it depends. Some places that use the full name of their company get way to freaking long and just beg for peopel to make typos. But lots of times the short ones are taken so you have to abbrviate some things and leave others normal... Can be a mess.

But over all, the shorter the better.

The shorter the better, but go with whatever you can get, of course. I also dislike hyphens in urls.

1) .com
2) No hyphens or numbers
3) Shorter the better and easy to remember
