Having too many chips left over (so the cheese to chip surface ratio is too low) or having too few chips, so that there's cheese wads on the plate left over?
 
I prefer having some leftover chips to leftover cheese.

Then again, I live in a first world country, so I can just throw it out if I get too confused to figure out what to do with cheese wads or cheeseless chips.
