I voted for hockey of course... the game is great now with better flow... still I guess some places the fans a tad on the timid side for the most part. My college's hockey games rocked!!! The fans and energy often rivaled the excitement of the game itself.

Golf and tennis weren't included... neither are motorsports... but then even as much as I like WRC, F1, SCCA ProRally etcetc... I guess you have to be into it... but there's a reason why F1 outranks even soccer on broadcast around the world. But soccer live in like a World Cup setting... ROCK!

I think it's not so much the sport as how much emotion you have vested in the teams that are playing. For instance, my most memorable sporting event was a football game a few years ago. Not because it was football so much as because of how much I wanted my team to win.

best live sporting event i've been to would be a basketball game. Kings vs Lakers, game 5, Bibby hits the last shot (nevermind that they lost the series, but those final few seconds were amazing!)

and from what i hear, hockey comes of MUCH better live and in person than it does on tv. And i'm starting to catch a few European soccer games every week and those look like some great events to see, with all the chants and the crowd flares and the rabid fans and rivalries. I wouldn't mind being front and center at Old Trafford between Man Utd and Arsenal!

Hockey...been to games at 4 different NHL arenas(Civic Arena/Mellon Arena, Capital Centre/USAir Arena, MCI Center, and the Joe), and they all rocked. Also been to a few minor league games. Not quite the NHL experience, but still nice.

As much as I love hockey, I am torn.

First off, football games SUCK!

Hockey is awesome if you get good seats. 5-10 rows up behind a goal (kinda close to a corner) is highly recomended!

The thing is, baseball games are also fun.

my love of Hockey pervails. Once saw an Al MCcinnis slap shot live. WOW! All I remember is the wind up aand then saying, where's the puck? Oh, maybe I should look at where everyone is skating
