I need to change my dog food (he's had some allergic reactions). What brand of dog food you feed your dogs? Thanks

I've enjoyed both Chinese and Mexican food.

Oh...you mean food for dogs...not food made from dogs. My bad. ;)

Eukanuba is very good, so is Iams. You may also want to ask your vet about Science Diet.

Eukanuba...But, it's super high in protein so your dog may bounce off the walls with energy. I've switched to Iams. Still have shiny coats and are healthy.

Black Labs Rule. So does beer.

Iams probably makes the highest quality dog food. A little more expensive but great stuff. My mom breeds dogs and that's what she's always used.

My English Springer Spaniel seems to do best on Costco's Kirkland Brand, the duck & rice flavor. She does much much better on the Kirkland brand than the Science Diet flavors.

Our dogs learned long ago to eat what is put in front of them and be happy about it. The 2 of them eat quite a bit, so we get giant 44lb bags of Pedigree Mealtime at Petsmart for about $14. They seem to like it, they always lick their bowl clean.

Ahh true words of a pet lover...

Man don't feed em crap, it already pisses me off to NO end how short lived the GOOD animals (Dogs) are anyhow. Thats like feeding yourself Big Macs all day. It sucks cause their body begins to break down so fast already. It's sick but you can tell if they are getting any nutrients from their food by how many times they crap a day. Basically you give em crap food they will recycle if you get my drift.

Think of how much you cost a day to eat.. Even if you get 1 dog a $40 bag of food a month it's only what, $1.20 a day, C'mon if you can't afford $1.20 a day don't post about expensive cars you'd buy in the other threads.

I think our dogs are horrobly healthy, but if you insist, I will try the better stuff when summer gets here, and I am outdoors and can examine the "results" on a regular basis.

When our dog was a pup, 11 years ago, the vet said that most brand name dog foods were basically the same. He said that if the dog likes it, and it isnt like 100% styrofoam, it is probably OK.

Lol... Yep... Dogs eat ANYTHING. Pretty gross when they eat something like crap and they come and lick your face immediately afterwards. :disgust: Best dog food? I don't know. I'm sure that stuff tastes nasty. OH, you mean for your DOG! Ahh... I see... Um... As long as the dog is happy...
