I am another Gygabye AGP hell person. I even tried two different revisions, cause I found a newer one used real cheap. Didn't like either one of them. The epox has been absolutely great since i got it and put the same hardware on it. Very stable, and sorry, but it was noticable faster too. I didn't benchmark it with sandra or anything, but I run SETI and the gigabyte with the same hardware would do a work unit in a range between 16-20 hrs. The epox does it in 12-14.

Good luck.

as the second mobo I've ever had, this one is the better of the two. the first being an ECS TX chipset based mobo. it was good, no questions there, but the P5A surpassed it in quality..

P5A does better then any Via MVP3 based mobo with the equal amount of cache that much I know for sure.. it's been soooo long since we saw any comparisons between the two performance wise..
