Poll: What tastes better: Beer on tap or beer from a bottle?

Beer in a bottle! I refuse to drink tap beer(unless at Oktoberfest) because you never really know what you are getting...

so do you always ask that you get to remove the bottle cap yourself? do you watch the bartender EVERY time he/she opens a bottle for you? 😕

I find Harp and Bass only taste good to me from the tap.

Heineken and Corona's taste good from bottles poured into frosty glasses

Guiness out of the bottle is pretty good

Only thing i've ever liked out of a can is Fosters...and even then i pour it into a frosty mug...

mmmm

I usually go with some friends, buy buckets of beer. The only time I watch a female bartender open it for me, is at about 2:30 in my apt. 😉

beer from the tap tastes a lot better than from a cold can/bottle...

specially if it's SuperBock🙂

😀

AHAHAHAHAHA!!!! nice, man....😀

I generally prefer tap unless I'm questioning the bar's ability to clean glasses. And, I've found it matters depending on which beer it is. fwiw.

Depends on the beer, not what holds it. With the possible exception of cans, I dunno what it is, but canned beer just tastes icky.

I prefer beer on tap, but never order it because of how disgusting most bars tap systems are. They hardly ever clean their lines so there's God only knows how much scum built up over the years.

I usually get it in the bottle.

Really? If you mean you order one beer and they give you another......it's pretty easy to tell the difference. Hell...last time I was at a bar (last week), my dad ordered Yuengling Lager and I ordered Shea's. I could tell by sight that she gave me the wrong beer....

If you're worried about dirty glasses and gunk in the tap lines...well, you have a point, but I've never gotten sick from tapped beer, and it's usually cheaper, so I just take my chances 🙂
