POLL: What sucks more? Matrox or Bitboys?

LOL!!!

Until I bought this 9700, I've had nothing but sweet Matrox video cards (minus the experience of the M3d) 😉

I just think you don't know sh!t about installing video cards. 😛

Matrox has some very good points to them. I personally like thier cards, but that's because I'm a capture card, multiple monitor, and high res junkie who does very little 3D PC gaming. If I want to do 3D gaming I have a Gamecube, PS2, and Dreamcast to cover that arena.

I have no clue what this poll is about! Are you referring to Matrox the video card company? What is/are Bitboys?

Perhaps so. If I knew how to daisy chain a dozen Matrox cards - a prerequisite for acceptable gaming performance - then I may not hate them so much.

Yes matrox the vid company. Bitboys is the video company that keeps saying they have a new vid card coming out but never have, and never will. Vaporware.

Gaming performance on a Parhelia is acceptable. Just not earth shattering great.

Well, if you buy Matrox for a gaming rig, then you truly suck more than Matrox... 😉

Matrox cards and drivers have always been stable when i have used them, for 2D quality and for OS drivers, Matrox truly rocks...

I should probably explain something, why i think they suck... back in the day of the G400 (or 200, now i don't recall)... you could play games, but, they would hose up rather quickly.. the screen would become covered with lovely little blocks, and then BSOD.

That was great, back then....

A Parhelia is as fast as my GF3 Ti200, usually faster, which I think it's fine for gaming. The problem is the price...I assume it's still high.

Voted for Matrox. Bitboys may not have a killer card, but at least they don't push overpriced pieces of crap on the public. Parhelia is nice, but it's not worth the US$300+ ticket price.

Oh the truth hurts! Somebody call a doctor. E.Amish is hemoraging!

You can?t beat Matrox's 2d quality. The way I see it, if you?re a graphics design buff, you'd probably be running at ultra high res and would want the clearest image quality out + dual monitor support.

I won't buy another Matrox card but I know what its good for.

Bitboys should be nuked!!! Xtreme Ultra super high bandwidth vapourware.

It is high if you are planning to buy it for a home desktop computer that you are going to run games on, BUT it has other advantages that makes the card attractive to other customers...

It's like saying that Sun sucks or that Unix in general sucks...

I vote for Bitboys they are vaporware nothing to complain about 🙁.

Never had a problem with any of my Matrox cards, they suck for gaming but the 2d is pretty darn good.
