POLL: What percentage of your pay check is gone before you see it?

ONLY COUNTING MANDATORY PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS, like tax.

Me, 33% including union dues and 7.5% mandatory pension contribution.
 
Well, the last check was 1450-ish, and I think I got 1050 or so out of it. That's with federal/prov taxes, medical coverage, all that jazz. Not too bad, only about 28% or so.
 
Annually my numbers are:

1.45% FICA-Med
6.2% FICA-OASDI
4.5% Fed IncTx

But on most individual checks the Fed IncTx is 0%. I only pay tax on bonuses and such where exemptions don't apply.

Just read that you wanted healthcare included.

36.21% Healthcare
 
Looking at the check I have infront of me, they take out 35% including 5% 401K, health, vision, and dental insurance plus taxes.

I had 36 extra hours of straight time on it though.
