UFO's here. My wife and I saw one on the 15 freeway while heading to Las Vegas.

It was about 11:30 at night, and my Wife was asleep in the passenger seat. I had the radio on low and I saw a weird white glow on the side of the road about a quarter of a mile away behind some trees. I woke my wife up and showed her, we only saw it for about 10 seconds and then it just took off tword the East very very fast. Freaky.

Bah...if I had to pick one, I'd say (low-level) ESP/Psychic abilities

[edit] Didn't see near-death experiences. I'll pick that...nothing really special there

Well it depends if UFO's/Aliens means that the aliens are coming here to earth. I believe that there is life else where in the universe, but I don't think they are coming here.

As for UFO's, I saw a plane fly over campus and I wasn't sure what kind it was, so technically that was a UFO.

A UFO is an Unidentified Flying Object.

It speaks to the shortcomings of your sensory abilities or technical equipment, it has nothing to do with aliens or other freaky subjects.

If you or your equipment is unable to detect the identity of an airborne object with a reasonable degree of certainy, then the object is by definition a UFO.

It could be a weather balloon for all you know.

Also, alternate or parallel universes are not a paranormal topic at all. In fact, parallel universes are the foundation of one of the most respected theories in quantum physics.

If parallel universes are a paranormal topic, then so is gravity and evolution.

My best friend is absolutely certain that he saw bigfoot once. He's not one to take lightly in such matters, as I've always known him to be honest. He also has a bachelor's degree in biology, so he's got a little credibility there too. Personally, I think he's made a mistake.

I picked ESP/Psychic abilities. I do think there is better evidence for this phenomenon than the others.

<< Hmmm...define "near death experiences" >>

Im sure youve heard the stories of people getting fatally injured somehow, and they claim to have "Floated"out of theyre body. Some claims stop at that point and some stories go all the way to actually being dead, and go to what they percieve to be Heavan and seeing Jesus/God/Angels or whatever. Believe it or not, they are interesting to listen too.

You need to add another option: All of the above. 🙂

Edit: Well, maybe except voodoo curses or whatever. 🙂

Those damn weather balloons, thats the real conspiracy.

<< Ghosts >>

or spirits, yeah. Near death experiences, too. I had a near-death experience once and hope to God nothing like it will happen again.

definitely ESP, as I believe most accounts are extensions of "normal" human abilities. I also believe in alien life but think it is unlikely to visit earth (other than as space debris) -- most UFOs are likely military (although I have seen several that are making me think twice)

I believe there are many other alien species. I believe in reincarnation because I have memories of past lives. And I believe in ESP but that everybody has many abilities that they aren't able to use right now. Ghosts are really our spirits when in between lives. Near death experiences do happen, although I think if you've gone outside your body, you become unstable (difficult to go back).

Bigfoot/Lock Ness monster? That'd be cool, but I don't know. Voodoo/curses/black magic is all bullshit. Alternate universes are quite likely, but I haven't really studied astronomy/cosmology as much as I'd like.

ghosts cuz my house is haunted, i go to bed, wake up and lights are on that i turned off, doors open and close, footsteps up the back hallway, etc..

Weather balloons. When trouble strikes or something abnormal occurs, weather balloons are always involved.
<------Thinks MLB is spying on us with weather balloons

Or maybe not?

It's hard to talk about this kind of stuff b/c most people have already made their minds up.
I usually don't talk about my experiences anymore.

Were you near Baker where they have the world's tallest thermometer when you saw this phenomenon? That's where something that me or my friend just don't know how to explain.
