There's no contest, OS 9 is the best by far. Nothing beats bad arcade game remakes and stupid tetris variants.

<< What is wrong with you people!! Win98 is absolute crap. From my experiences WinMe is soooo much better. >>

You make the basic mistake of assuming everyone else is running your hardware and software and use the PC in the same manner. I suspect WinME works flawlessly if you use 100% certified MS hardware and stick to only Notepad and Solitaire.

well, you freaks keep your sh!tty 16-bit dos-based legacy crap, memory leaking, crashing, unstable win9x OS's.

I'll keep my protected-memory, rock solid, stable, reliable, fast, smooth NT-kernel based Windows NT 5.0. :) all this, AND it plays all my games perfectly! (q3, ut, etc.)

oh.. and by the way. :) lets see.. I moved into this house on the 1st. of december. had my computer booted that night. haven't rebooted or shut down since.

before that, at the apartment I was in, the uptime for my PC (before I shut it down to move it to the house) was well over 2 months. Read my lips : I will never use a win9x based OS again.,

Come over to the good side. Leave the dark side! You'll never go back, trust me

Totally I love 2000 it's awesome... I had RC3 on a Vectra VLi8 at my last job and it ran for almost 40 days straight at that point I had to reboot it due to me putting an update to CD-Creator... Other then that that system had so much stuff installed on it. But all through that it ran great it didn't run many games but once the full version came out what I run at home now too I only came across a few things that didn't want to run.. 1 was Covert Ops and I can't remember the other... Maybe Heavy Metal FAKK 2 but after I played it I didn't care for it anyhow.

If you have to have Win9X then I liked 98 better but thats cause I do allot of networking being in the field I'm in. But I guess for an Everyday home PC ME would be fine.... Copy a 500 meg or so file in me and you'll see what I'm talkin about.. it Reeks

Cablegod,

Yup. That's why I'm not willing to shell out a few hundred bucks for a new video card. I've gotta save for this hike. :)

Most people don't think they are better, just that 2k is better. And it is.
