gf4ti 4200 in gamer

geforce 2 gts (just lost its spot in homepc after $79 BB ti 4200 deal) probably give to brother
voodoo3500 in linux workstation

GF2 GTS 32MB still works for me... even in UT2K3 and BF1942. I have been wanting to upgrade for a while now, but I'm just not convinced it is worth it. Besides I have heard the new ATI cards (which is what I would get if I did upgrade) don't work too well on an overclocked AGP bus (I'm running a P4S333 @ 150 FSB, and it doesn't have an AGP lock). Maybe I'll upgrade when the next round of FPS and video cards come out.

Aunix, I updated the Poll to include Xabre and mentioned the Parhelia. How do you like that card anyways? The Parhelia..
Was it worth the trip?

Parhelia = own! It is by far the best card on the marketplace, at least for the kind of work I do. I do a lot of 3d animation and 2d drawing and content creation for my webpages.

The 2d quality is amazing! As well, it is good enough for games. Don't really game much, but the games I do like work very well and look nice.

I still wish I had a 3rd monitor to take advantage of triple-head, currently using two Samsung 900NFs on mah Parhelia system 🙂

I would like to try the Parhelia, but it's just too hefty a price tag for me. It's ok, I can still live through the joy of others. 😀

Running an original Visiontek GF3, just o/c'd it for teh first time...will be going up to a 9800Pro sometime in the near future.

Also have a voodoo3 3000 AGP I used to use & will probably throw in an older machine at some point soon.

Just upgraded. Put my old Geforce2 Pro into my second workstation and an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro into my main system. I'll certainly miss the VIVO of the Geforce4 TI but I can live with it. Just hope I don't have too many compatibility issues with games is all.

Purchased a ATI 9700pro some months ago. Fantastic card giving a big boost to AA and AF, has a good chance to stay longer than 12 months in my rig.

Cheers
