I live in a tourist trap. It's not rural, it's not a city, and there's no city nearby so it's not really a suburb, either. But the size of everything and availability of places to shop is most similar to the other suburbs I've lived in, so that's what I voted.

Small town is ~10k people, not ~165k people.

Compared to the nearest city to Burlington 165k is a small town. Toronto has 5mil! I live on the East end of Toronto in the burbs, 65k, but im so close to the city boundaries that it doesnt feel like a small town.

nto quite city, not quite burb...its house dating from the 20s that is not too far from the city.

Population 3300.

Sorta rural.

I live in rural Virginia. Population is about 600 in the nearby town. I95 comes right through it though.

Population ~120,000.
