[POLL] What is Your Favorite Variety of Apple?

Honeycrisp .. not in the poll though.

I just had one a week ago. They're huge .. about the size of a softball. very crisp and very juicy. kinda sweet, but there's a nice tart kick .. just the way I like it. 🙂

Ironically (if you know how I feel about Quicktime and iPods), my favorite apples are McIntosh 😛 Closely followed by golden delicious. Red delicious are probably my least favorite.

My grandparents own an apple orchard in central Washington and grow most of those named. There's nothing like pulling an apple straight off the tree in the morning while it's still cool and crunching into it. Consequently, most of the best apples go to Japan where they pay high dollar for them. At least as far as Washington apples go.
