I don't see the Internet listed.

Anyway, X seems pretty bad. You can die from one dose.

The first and only time I've ever done acid I tripped for 15 straight hours. The first couple hours were a blast, the middle was fun but a little boring cause most everyone was asleep and I wasnt, and the last 3 or so hours I started to wonder whether I was ever going to snap out of it. But common sense took hold and I didnt sweat it too much.

Eventually I did come down, and had a great day afterwards to boot. Overall the experience was pretty positive, aside from the last couple hours.

As with extacy, once was enough, and theres no reason for me to bother with it again.

I understand drugs can be a terrible thing, but overall, the experiences Ive had on the vast majority of them have been nothing but positive. The key is to know when to stop and know what not to touch, no matter what. As much damage as they can cause, people do them for a reason because they can make great experiences and totally change your perspective on life, often in a good way.

The biggest factor in whether youre gonna lead into trouble is who you are, who youre with, and why youre doing it. If you have a bad personality, drugs are only going to make it worse, yes, even MJ. If your friends are jackasses and dont know what theyre doing and dont have your back, then youre definitely gonna have problems. And for the love of god, if youre doing any drug to alleviate mental pain or heavy stress, stop, because it only makes it worse in the end.

No you dont need drugs to live a happy life, you dont need drugs to combat your depression, you dont NEED drugs at all. But if you mind and body can handle it, and youre responsible enough to not do anything stupid and dont bother or otherwise adversely affect anyone else, I dont think its anyones right to tell you what you should or shouldnt do.

That being said, the cure for migraine and other really really strong headaches is marijuana. It works. Also pretty damn good for the common cold too.

agreed

Better way to expand your mind:
1. Place two sticks of dynamite on either side of your head.
2. light them and wait for a loud boom.

I think we should legalize all forms of drugs. I mean, we can't stop stupid people from taking these things, why not just allow them to. At least, we can rid the population of the stupid genes.

Very True

religion.... the false sense of empowerment/ability to convince the masses that one is empowered... responsible for more deaths and suffering than all drugs.

Nonetheless, growing up near DC, with 2 ex-hippie parents, being on 4 anti-depressants+adderall, and knowing enough people who got fukked up on everything under the sun, i'd have to say heroin...

That's a horrible thing to say. People get addicted for different (and a combination) reasons such as depression, peer pressure, health, and so on. 'stupid genes' hardly fit that mold, as there have been quite a few brilliant people who regularly used drugs and have been enourmously influential on our society.

My friend, you could be leading yourself down a road of problems.

Two summers ago I used cocaine for the first time. Cocaine had just caught on in my city, and three of my friends had bought a small amount to share on a Friday night. One of them, my best friend, kept asking me to try it. He wouldn't stop pushing it on me. I kept declining. As the evening progressed, we all became further inebriated, and, after being asked once again to try it, I gave in and fired off a line.

Instantly, my nostril felt numb, where the coke hit my lips, they felt numb. The coke had me feeling really good. It put a swagger in my step.

By the time we arrived at the bar, I was wanting more. Downstairs, in the bathroom, we did more. I fired off two more even bigger lines. Even before I made it up the stairs I could feel the drugs kicking in. The mix of the booze and the coke was awesome. I felt like a rockstar.

This pattern of use continued over the entire summer. The weekend after my first experience we started buying larger quantities. The more we kept using, the larger amounts we needed. It soon reached a point where we were buying an 8-ball each (three and a half grams). We needed it to have a good time.

I loved everything about coke. I loved the anticipation. I loved buying it from dealers. I loved heading for a bathroom, dumping the coke on a credit card, chopping the lines, rolling the money, and snorting it hard up my nose, letting it drip down my throat.

I started to get a reputation, which I tried hard to mend, and eventually did.

At the lowest point, we had been up all night drinking and snorting lines, when, at 9am, we snuck off to my friend's car parking in the drive and fired off a few more lines. I woke up at 7pm that night with a bloody nose, my heart pounding.

I stopped using that night, realizing it was only going to get worse.

Have I been totally clean since then? No. I've used a few times since, but I no longer depend on the drug to have a good time. That's why I have alcohol!

Proof?

That's what I'm saying. You're buying into the hype about so and so dying with X in their system. Try X or at least read up on it and report back to us before you post crap you got from the 6:00 news. What they don't tell you is that so and so may have taken TOO much X at once, had other drugs or alcohol in their system, etc. etc. But since they died at a "rave", it HAD to be X that killed them, right?

Disclaimer: I'm not saying that X doesn't potentially cause harm, but I am saying "Be a little more educated about drugs before making dumb statements like the above."

LD50 dose of ecstasy: 106 mg/kg or ~6,000 mg

One pill of ecstasy (assuming it's pure MDMA and not cut with some sh1t): 75-125 mg

* LD50 = dose which will kill 50% of the test subjects

I have to say Perscription Drugs, in most cases they are easy to get and don't cost any were near
what most illegal drugs do.

Morphine any thing over 5mg can lead to death
Oxycotin if you crush the pill and swallow it can kill you since its is a time released medication

There are a few others that if ingested wrong can lead also to death.

Ok i have only done weed, mushrooms and alchohol in my lifetime.
Weed isnt bad at all..smoked it for 3 years for every day and i still keep going. Mushrooms is a different story. The body buzz is quite intense and so is the mind. I cant take the taste of them though..taste like sh!t...everytime i try them i gag like a motherfvcker so i cant take them anymore.

Cocaine is not good to get into too. Although ive never tried it knowingly (i think i might have smoked it once with weed) its FOR SURE not good to try it even ONCE. I know good friends who get 8-balls every night ($250-300) and snort for days and days with no sleep. At the age of 20, they act like dumbshi! with no brain

Heroin is very very addictive which i would never try or think off....who thinks of putting a needle in their vein to be pleasent.

Meth, dont no anyone who tried it or on it

Speed, althouh never tried it, but one of my good friends did andhe says its good for studying..keeps you up.

about coke..i know ALOT of people who do this sh! but in the end its not worth it. They spend 100's of dollars a night on this crap and in the ned you can buy an ounce of weed for the same price.. ive neevr thought anything snorted up the nose is good for the body or nose. Coke can also explode your heart makin you bleed out of every single hole in your body..its sick. the best way of stayin away of coke is NEVER TRYIN it ONCE..cause once you try it you want more and more and you know the buzz...if you dont try it..you dont no what its like etc..

COKE fvcks up your life..i know..ive seen it happen...i know a guy who had a seizure while on coke and his mother found him, he lost his license and car and cant egt it back till he passes a drug EXAM. he still has seizures every oncein a while. Like i said, stay FAR FAR away and you will be fine. I know at least 5+ on coke and their lives are going no where but 6 feet under. IF you wanna do drugs stick with mushroooms and weed and beer but NOT coke..

coke puts you in a downward spiral eventaully leading to your grave

Telling a story like this is a reminder of what drugs can do when they overpower your life. I know many friends who were in your sitation and still are. I see them spending $200+ each on a friday night just to get a buzz shows mee how much COKE can become a factor in your life and how it can ruin it. Ive stayed away from it for this reason..ill stick too my good old weed even if the buzz aint there like coke.

I've done it (cocaine and crack) a few times (in dreams) and didn't have any problems whatsoever with it.

Your post made me laugh.. not because of your brother's condition, but because you seem to believe that it is because he tried pot that he went to harder drugs. Also, you say "sure he was on some other stuff" like it is nothing. If pot didn't exist, hard drug use would be at the same level it is now.

Ever stop and think that if he's bi-polar, he's gonna go ape sh*t and get depressed no matter what? Unless you somehow think that the drugs caused his condition, which would be a first as far as I've heard.
