I have never been shot and I do not quite believe the movies where people were shot directory in the leg where they could continue to fight. The M-16 is specifically designed to tumble the bullet through the body and cause as much injury as possible... Pretty much one direct shot anywhere on your body will put you out of commision... Yeah, you can live, but I would imagine the pain is too difficult to continue doing whatever you were doing... Then again, when adrenaline is kicked in and your life is at stake, you can do amazing things. Who knows, but I think the most realistic is when you are shot, to be out of the game.
