you guys are all sick and I ask for all your man cards who think its fine to pan fry a steak....
nothing is more manly than heating a cast iron skillet up to 600-900 degrees and throwing a steak in there, smoke rolls out like you wouldn't believe.
The pansy way to cook a steak is anything that involves propane..
umm, alot of stoves run off propane![]()

spidey07's description of the pan-searing method
Get out of the house once in a while and you'll realize that most high-quality Steak Houses sear steaks in a similar manner.
I love a nice grilled steak, but pan-searing is still a superior cooking method.
sorry I disagree, I've had both. You lose the grill taste when you pan sear.

The Rotisseree (sp?) on the Grill is for steaks!
The Oven is a mystical device, not to be used by men!
You're not using the oven, you're using the broiler. There's no mystery there, it's just a really hot fvcking open flame! :thumbsup:Originally posted by: BurnItDwn

Leftover pizza is only to be eaten cold and from the box.

A rotisserie for steak? I've never heard of anyone cooking steak like this. Large roasts? Yes. Steak? No. Steak either goes on the grill, seared in a cast iron skillet or on the broiler pan in the oven.
