I hate rap and country so much equally I can't choose one over another, but since more people like rap, I'd have to say rap.

Rap and/or hip hop.
i never understood the difference :D
I dunno, is there a difference? What do you call it when they're singing as opposed to rapping? I guess you would just consider that pop. I think of hip hop as singing (not rapping), but without any real musical instruments. :)
rap is the crap fed to you on radio and mtv (chingy, nelly)

hip hop is the stuff that doesnt get any radio airplay, and is considered "underground". its more complex, but ill just keep it simple. :D

"Boy band pop"
There are almost no decent male singers, but a lot of whimpy boys with voices of 10 year olds. There are a lot of female singers devoid of any skills or talent, too, but this boy band pop phenomenon is inexcusable.
Rap and Disco are not my favorite, either. Country could be all right, but 99% of the songs sound the same to me. Boring.
And the list goes on...

techno/electronica

I like a lot of country, and some rap is tolerable, but I absolutely despise techno

"Christian Metal is gospel music's hard rock. Not as hard as most heavy metal, it still has many of its trademarks, particularly loud guitars, bombastic riffs, long solos, and pseudo-operatic vocals. Christian metal falls between arena rock and pop-metal, though there are the occasional bands that are heavier. What ties them all together is their lyrical themes ? every band has inspirational and religious lyrics."

LOL!

Opera. Not listed. I know it's a type of classical, which I don't mind, but throw in those shrill voices and I have to turn it off. Povarati (sp?) is one of the worst.

You mean Tejano?

no tejano is a cross between country and mexican. Mariachi is that sh*t they play with the guitars in the mexican restaurant, or in 3 Amigos.
