Which are you awaiting the most.
Ive only listed the "very big" games bty.

Im awaiting Deus Ex 2;
HL and its addons was a good laugh, but to me, little more than a fps game, admittidy good fps game...
Doom1&2 was also good, i lost countless hours as a child wreaking havok in hell.
But DeusEx was the only game that ive played where i felt i was in the world. Like i made a difference. It had a certain feel to the game that i liked alot. And so, i am eagerly awaiting its sequel more than the other games.

Deus EX was cool.... still replay it from time to time! Most enjoyable.... specially because we can take several different aproaches to missions!! In the next one, I'll try to be a bad boy again!!

Hope that Deus Ex 2, is a least as enjoyable as the first!

Deus Ex was my favorite single player game, doom3 is what i am excited about the most, but i would like to see CS2 but i am not much excited about the actuall HL

You haven't played any of them, it's possible they will live up to all the hype surrounding them (though doubtful). Of the three listed, I'd say I'm looking forward to DX2 the most, simply because it might come out sometime before 2005.

Half-Life 2 bar none. There will be nothing else out there like it with its ground breaking technology and physics.

The game of the year for 2003 will be Call of Duty though. :beer:

but after 371 mentions of TF2 without the actual game ever coming to light, why more people didnt see that coming is beyond me

Definitely. I believe the creator of CS, Gooseman, is essentially a Valve employee now.

Actually, after considering the question a little more, I feel obliged to modify my assertion. It's quite possible that Valve will be releasing CS2 as a retail product, perhaps as an expansion pack. CS is so overwhelmingly popular that Valve has to realize it has potential to be a cash cow. Even at $20, the number of copies that CS2 would sell would generate a ton of revenue.

Considering that Half Life 2 is delayed even further I have lost intrest until April..

I think Doom 3 is going to better than people think but who knows...
