In college I drank 50 (yes fifty!) cans of A&W root beer a week.
50 CANS! So I know what its like to give up pop. Juice is pointless... I laugh at people who drink juice because "its good for you" has nearly the same amount of sugar as soda...so you just as well drink something that tastes better.
after drinking 2 or 3 gallons a day for a few months...you just get used to it.
I'm a beveragoholic. I've never met a beverage other than tomato juice that I don't like. From water (love it), through milk, Bud Light, Fosters, up through McEwans line of Scotch Ales, liquor, suntan lotion, the works. 😛
I drink the king of drinks: ICED TEA. Every week, i go to the supermaket, and buy a pack of 24 concentrated iced tea packs (theyre better then the powder), and by next week I have to go buy another pack of 24. Iced Tea is Gods gift to mankind. Only lemon flavoured though. that peach iced tea is horrible. Rasberry is alright, but cant have it in too much quantity.
btw, has anyone tried bawls? i oh SO want to try this, but they dont have it here in Canada 🙁 if anyone has tried it, tell me how it is?
<< Another Newcastle Brown Ale. Now if only Beamish came in a bottle I would not have to go to the pub. >>
Newcastle is fantastic stuff. I drank it every chance I got until I found the McEwans. Maid's pANTIES is good too. Never got into ice tea, but i love coffee and consume vast quantities, preferably instant coffee w/ no milk or sugar.
The family is in wholesale beverage distribution business and moves 2m cases of beer, soda, water, single serve tea, fruit drinks, juices etc. per year (give or take a few thousand here and there).
