I jump around a lot. I dumped S@H and RC5 because I felt they were useless, which anyone who has read this board for more than 6 months knows all too well. :)

I ran DCypher and Popular Power for a while, but DCypher I felt had hit its point of no longer being useful, and DS has not delivered on some of the promises of big computing jobs they promised months ago. Ditto for Popular Power. So for now I've got Folding@Home on one PC (protein simulation) and just installed Entropia on another.

Does anyone know what the hell Entropia does, anyway? Its projects don't say what they are.

1) seti - it's fun..I'm supporting team anandtech, and I have an interest in astronomy.

2) dcypher - it's not as resource hungry as seti; it's a nice, clean, simple program and it benefits society directly.

3) popular power - it helps find cures for the flu (thus helping ppl); but I do get annoyed that you have to be online for it to crunch data.

I run RC5 cause I saw it more then the others when I joined. Then I learned about SETI. But I have suck with RC5 cause that is what I started with... and I will finish it. (Unless Dnet really makes me upset)

Otherwise.... I am going to SETI when this RC5 is all done.....

Hey, wait a second... Unreal Tournament isn't listed!?

Well, I do lots of OGR and a little RC5, and sometimes crank out some SETI WU's when the mood strikes. Never tried Gamma Flux yet.

Mostly OGR, some RC5-64 on the machines that are best at it and soon a bit of Gamma Flux.

Why?

1. The D.Net client is the one to beat and since virtually all of my herd has to run itself, stability & reliability is of primary importance.

2. Why OGR? Because it is new & possibly useful whereas RC5 (putting on flame retardant suit now) is old, tired and almost useless... in short, it's the proverbial flogged dead horse.

3. Why a bit 'o Gamma Flux? I think Dcypher has potential... GF is also potentially useful and I like to keep a bit of variety to my DC efforts. (Hence the reason I did CSC and ECDL as well)
