I just built an Intel machine for my primary. My previous 3 machines were all AMD. In all cases they used either Win2K or Windows XP Pro.

I have two comps that I use.

1 is a p4 win XP
2nd is an AMD with dual boot of fedora and XP.

WIfe has a p4 with XP
MIL (lives with us) has a p4 w/ 2K
Son has an AMD with XP
Laptop is an AMD (400MHz) w/ 2K

Server is a P2 with clarkconnect.

Where is my option?

Obviously this thread does not correctly represent the real market share since Intel has over 2 times the market presence of AMD.

Most people on this board is sort-of like a techie...
And we all know that AMD processor is cheaper and their performance is just about the same, so it's not surprising that we have more AMD users in here than Intel users.
