Poll: What affect do you feel glasses have on appearance?

Personally, I don't feel they affect someone attractiveness at all, and actually can create a little extra sometimes. What think you?

Normally makes a person look more intelligent.

On most people it detracts from appearance a little bit, on the ocassional person it enhances it. If I wanted to look smart and pretend I knew what I was talking about I'd prefer to be wearing some.

I personally think that switching from glasses to contact-lenses has much improved my appearance, not to mention that contact-lenses are so much more convenient than glasses

To be truthful nobody looks good wearing glasses. It probably has something to do with kids calling you four eyes when you were young, so the stigma lingers in peoples minds. Proof of that is people rushing to laser eye surgery centers.

I think that some glasses can make people even sexier than without.

in the 1-10 scale, a chix gets +2 for having glasses that look fashionable...-2 for having big nerdy ones.
fashionable frames include the thick black plastic kind, or the small wirey metal frames.
maybe it is the face that makes the glasses...

The current g/f, as well as g/f's of the past say that glasses really emphasize my incredibly green eyes. G/F also says that I look damn sexy with them on too

Glasses can make a HUGE difference in appearance. My mother-in-law had a nice pair that made her look adorable. They got broken and she replaced them with a pair that make her look like Cruella DeVil! I think I'm going to break them or lose them somehow! :Q
