When I went to the Steel Pony Express in New Orleans a couple months ago, WCC and OCC had their set-up on opposite sides. I saw the WCC crowd and thought it was huge. Then I went to the OCC side and the crowd was triple the size.

Paul Sr. and Jr. were on the top of their trailer throwing autographed frisbees. I didn't get to see Jesse James or his crew.

My vote goes to OCC.

I'm a guy who really enjoys and appreciates a skilled artisan. I love watching these shows for that aspect of it. I liked watching American Chopper, and I'll still watch it, but I realized that they just aren't as talented as West Coast, or any of the guys on the bike build-off on Sunday. OCC is basically an assembler with some ideas. The frame, tank, seat, paint job, etc. are all made elsewhere. They get the parts in and put it together.

WCC and the guys on the bike build-off, I respect their work more because they actually DO the work. Jesse James will sit there and pound out a fender or a gas tank from raw steel, and turn it into a perfectly shaped piece. Things like that are a lost art, and I really respect that. OCC is fun to watch, and Mikey is hilarious, but I just respect the work that WCC does more.

I voted West Coast but I like OCC too. I've been watching that biker build off on Discovery and man that guy out in Phoenix just rocks. His bikes have awesome lines. The guy up in Michigan has awesome paint skilz, Indian Larry is old school, and that guy down in Florida is just a classic bike builder.

Bottom line - these guys are all talented in their own ways and they all do good work.

The Yaffe bike was my absolute favorite, too bad the Indian Larry retro bike won. Indian Larry is good, I just thought the Yaffe bike was absolutely stunning.

I like both OCC and WCC but I wouldn't buy any of their Bikes. I'd prefer to have a Stock Harley, Indian, Victory,etc.. that would be more functional and comfortable to ride.

I also like Indian Larry's/Gasoline Alley's old School Choppers as they remind me of what Choppers use to look like back in the day. WCC and OCC's Bikes look more like Trailer Queens than Road Bikes (still they do look awesome)

I'd take a WCC over an OCC any day, Jesse builds everything from scratch, on OCC they just order everything and put it together on a majority of their bikes. Jessess won't put it on unless its perfect for the bike and its something that he built with his own hands.

WCC

I can't stand how the two guys on OCC bicker all the time. How do they get anything done there?

Both crews have more talent than I ever will. With that said, WCC is a lot more impressive to me than OCC. Damn near everything on the WCC bikes they fabricate themselves. I wouldn't mind having a bike from either of them, but if I get to choose who it's from, WCC it is.

There are all eye candy as choppers should be. If you ever ride one, you will neither go
fast for long or far. Cappuccino cowboys or bar hoppers ride choppers.

The last REAL Indians were produced in 1954. The Indian name has been drug through the mud since that time. The current Indian Co. does not even have their own motor,
its a Harley clone.

Look at the prices on true vintage Indians on Ebay. A real Sport Scout set up as a
bobber would not only go up in value but be very unique on the street. It would get
more attention from the ppl that are really into bikes. My extra 2 cents..
