Not only are you a shitbag because you want to shoot and grenade immigrants, you're also a shitbag because you support treason against the US government by default as a Republican.

So, if nothing else, you're a consistent shitbag.
You mean those armed insurrectionist immigrants that are storming our border?

How many people crossing the border are trying to overthrow the government.

Ron Johnson would love you. Not only do you approve of white people committing crimes you don't know the meaning of insurrectionist. In fact I would guess you don't know the meaning of most words.

They turned down an option they should have taken as I said. They could still negotiate. I'm not doing a Bengazi comparison... I didn't object then and I'm not objecting now. You asked a poll question and I gave you my honest answer.

This is not legit in my opinion as it is too one sided.
You must do a Benghazi comparison to test the voracity of your convictions. That tells if your opinion is coming from an honest place.

BTW - As I stated they tried negotiating and McCarthy stabbed the negotiator in the back. What else could the Dems give the Republicans assuming as you suggest they keep negotiating again??

No, I don't. You would just like for me too. I posted what I thought on Bengazi. It has nothing to do with this topic.

I have already agreed they should have taken the deal as it was, but they didn't. Nancy is playing the "phuck you" card. She can do that if she wants. It isn't going to help things or make anything legitimate. This is true regardless of what you or I think of Bengazi. Lord knows Nancy has never been vengeful or ruthless...

You could search any condo complex or apartment building in this country and find more arms then this so called "armed insurrection" had on them. What did they find? 2? 3?
You know 'arms' don't have to be firearms, don't you? There were plenty of clubs, batons, brass knuckles, flagpoles used as spears, chemical agents ......

I voted no.

I agree they should have taken the deal at this:

"There would have been equal representation among Democrats and Republicans. Nobody on the committee would be a current member of Congress or running for office. Both sides would have had subpoena powers. "

But after it was turned down what Nancy is doing:

"Pelosi will now run a select committee where Democrats are the majority and have sole subpoena power. "

Is not legit.

What you are saying is that if Republicans turn down a fair deal then the only fair thing Democrats can do is not have the investigation because whatever it is it won't be as fair and so won't be legit. That is just absurd logic. Republicans were never going to agree to any investigation because they had a big hand in causing the events that require one to be done.

You are basically saying that the defendant in a criminal trial should be able to say the trial is not legit because of the risk of conviction.

Show us where it's illegal.

Oh come on....
When it comes to Trump you can sum up the republicans attitude with this.

I'd just LOVE to have seen that senate investigation had Donald Trump actually shot someone dead in the middle of Fifth Avenue. Trump really missed a golden oportunity, and America missed a great senate performance. Oh well, maybe Donald can shoot someone when he runs in 2024. And we all know who THAT will be....

Republican leadership had a chance at a bipartisan committee that would have given them more control over things. They said no. Now they're whining about not having input.

This is an entirely legitimate alternative knowing that.

So once again all Republicans have to do to make anything illegitimate is to refuse to participate?

McCarthy is cracking me up, keeps acting like "unprecedented" is something that matters after 4 years of Trump's unprecedented corruption and capricious disregard for the law.

Is that all you pussies got? More upset about a commission to investigatate than the actual attack on the capitol, so typical for these traitors.

I'm asking if it is. You said you considered it illegitimate, I'm asking if it's illegal.

Your original response was to demand I "show us where it is illegal.".

Legitimate (legit) doesn't only mean legal as in the Law, I know you must know this already, but your demand lends to question that.

I said it isn't legit in my opinion. As her plan is just an act of retribution for the R's refusal to accept the offer (which I think was stupid on the R's part). That was as good a deal as they were ever going to get and better than what I expected. They made their bed and now they have to sleep in it. Just like Nancy and her vindictive plan. Regardless of how fair or even handed it is handled the optics are terrible.

Good, it's not illegal, so take your biased opinion and fuck off. Republicans have spent the last 2 decades behaving in really shitty ways, and when pressed on it all they can say is: "It's not illegal"
