I think the numbers kinda speak for themselves......

13 people voted so far that have had to deal with customer service at mwave

3 people had bad exp.
10 had good.....

I would consider 3/13 a bad ratio. I don't know where the 5.6 out of 7 comes from.

They have good service, until I went to their warehouse to pickup stuff with a friend. I get there, they bring up your order, and they take about an hour to sit there and get all the stuff ready. My friend ordered like 3 things, and it should have only taken them about 5 minutes max to get everything. Everyone else that was there to pickup also had to wait an extremely long time, and the lady at the desk has a strong attitude and is very pushy.

Yes. I have been ordering components online since 1993. (Looking up prices on BBS's and then calling the companies to order).

Do all you people who graduated after 95 remember BBS's? 2400 baud modems? eh?

I purchased from MWAVE. Their shipping was slow and a CD arrived cracked. After informing them, however, a new CD was sent immediately no questions asked. They didn't even want the cracked one back! Prices are good though.

I have never had any real problems with them. Sure, they've been slow to ship sometimes, but I never had any product problems. sorry to hear about the bad experiences.

I usually order stuff thru mwave, their prices are decent. I had trouble one time with a abit board and did an exchange no problem. I think people are spoiled nowadays by places like walmart that are willing to take anything back recepit or not. Stores like mwave rely on the fact that the people buying are informed about the products, they usually do skirt a bit on their customer service in order to pass on the savings i.e. their policy on a 15% restock fee if not damaged. If you want to return items just because you don't like them, buy at egghead or their ilk and pay their premium markup. Otherwise inform yourself about a product before you buy.
I do have one small complaint though I did purchase a Elan Vital case within the last week when i recieved the product the front bezel was different than the one pictured on the website. I was going to call, but I think I like this design better.

I have a GeForce2 MX that I got for Christmas which wasnt compatible with my 440BX mobo(rev.1 AGP,not rev.2) The CSR at Mwave told me that there would be a 15%restock fee on the return. So I asked her that if I returned it and got something else on their site, would they waive the restock fee.She said sure, no hesitation,no bitching or nothing.I then proceeded to order an ASUS A-7v and a 1 Gig T-Bird from them. This all came about because the CSR was pleasant and accomodating to me.Would I use them again?SureI would. So another vote is cast FOR mwave.

Peace

Just ordered 800 bucks of stuff from them. Shipped right away and no problems. I wish they'd get out of my state so I didn't have to pay tax.

If it's within 30 days you have a right to return the merchandise. However you should have read up on the Abit board before making the purchase.
