shock rifle.

skilled players will use it to snipe. and with the ability to do the ball-trick combo, that leads to some easy frags in groups of ppl. anyways, with shock rifle in internet games that might have lag, you can see how lagged it really is by seeing how long it takes to fire the shock's primary. makes it easier to compensate. i really hate the flak. its a spam weapon that any beginner can use. i think that's why it won't be in unreal II and UT2.

3. Redeemer with First Person bullet camera.

I can't really choose, except to say that I hate the translocator. Not for using, but because some people use it as a primary method of movement. As for the Flak Cannon, sure people spam the primary fire, but the secondary fire is awesome. Same goes for the goo gun.

Zoom ESR--> combines the scope of the sniper rifle and the power of the ESR. Its really not fair to use in a match where there are other weapons present, but in a dedicated arena this mod makes for high-paced action!

Second runner up is the minigun, set to alt-fire this weapon can tear through people with the quickness. Combine the minigun with the damage multiplier and you can really rack em up!

i personally like the damage multiplier with shock rifle. temporary instagib. makes for some nice ball tricks too.

it really all depends on what kind of taargeting is required...for close-up battle the flak cannon works great...for medium range targeting you cant beat the rocket launcher, and for long range /sniper shots, well thats a "gimme"

edit: in certain sit's/characters, the minigun works better than the flak cannon
