Earthlink's tech support rocks. Smart people who seem to know what they're doing, and they allow you to let them know you're an experienced user and cut to the chase of whatever the problem is, instead of walking you through all the things you already tried because you know better.
My telco is Verizon, so that's who provides my actual DSL connect. I've had to talk to them a couple of times, and most of the techs I've reached, there, have been dumber than a rock.
