OK, a few quick questions:

I'm using IE, have a TON of favorites, generally compute to the point where I have a LOT of browser windows open after not too long and people (at Anandtech) said I need tabbed browsing, which I've never tried.

Is Firefox the logical one to try?

Will it keep my favorites?

If I don't like it, I presume, I can go back to IE in a heartbeat?

Can I run one or the other seamlessly if I want, even to the point where I run both at the same time?

Fact: I'm running Google Toolbar, which I use for popup blocking and Autofill, basically. Oh, I also use iSpell occasionally, like I just did it! :)

TIA!

You will likely love Firefox if you give it a chance :)
As for keeping your favorites, of course!

Merely save your favorites to an html file, & then you can import them to Firefox.

Actually, i forgot. The newer versions of Firefox automatically import your faves, your cookies, & history if you want.

I am a surfaholic, & usually have at least 20 tabs open in a few Firefox windows.

Makes it farrrr easier than it was with IE. That, & extensions are awesome :)

Oh, & in case you hadn't seen it yet, google search is built into the browser.
You won't need a second party pop-up blocker anymore, & if you want to get rid of all ads, there's the adblock extension.

Thanks! What about Google Toolbar's Autofill? Is there a feature in Firefox that does that or can I run Google Toolbar in it for that functionality (it's way cool, folks)?
