Not sure what tweet it is..It might be this - "Billions of dollars are sent to the State of California for Forest fires that, with proper Forest Management, would never happen. Unless they get their act together, which is unlikely, I have ordered FEMA to send no more money. It is a disgraceful situation in lives & money! "

At least we know he can conduct more than one toddler temper tantrum at a time! ... I wonder if he knows what "proper Forest Management" is? Does he still think the forests should all be raked?

EDIT - MomentsofSanity has it covered

FAKE NEWS!

You spelled forest correctly.

At least you know when you've been beaten in an argument. Retreat and regroup. Try again.
Who were you before you were banned?

Anyway, the threat isn't at the border, it's at legal points of entry. The facts do not support Trump's statements and lying includes "alternative facts".

Terrorists! No.
Thousands and thousands dying by drugs smuggled across the border that a wall would stop. No.

Trump is holding the country hostage because he has not gotten his way on a symbol that he promised.

Neat!!!

You could spend days saying that border security requires a comprehensive solution using a mixture of tactics and technologies.
Trump don't care. He want's his fucking symbol.

He wants "Trump border wall" and casino.

To west coast "conservatives" (I'm a native Oregonian BTW, so I know this one all too well), "proper forest management" means letting the timber companies clear-cut the forests so there aren't any trees left to burn.

The problem with communicating this issue to the 75%+ of America that lives east of the Rockies is that they usually don't understand the west coast climate and its hot dry summers, especially in California. Forest fires are an unavoidable part of nature here. One may as well pretend we could "manage" away hurricanes and tornados.

I mean kind of, several million fewer Americans voted for him than his opponent.

Still tho, 60M dopes voted for this.

If they didn't see this coming... IDK what evidence, behavior or piece of Trump's history that would lead one to reasonably conclude a different outcome.

Even if you could excuse the "voting for the party" voter, Trump still got 14M votes in the primary.

Kasich wouldn't be fucking all this up like Trump has, so I give those fuckers no excuse.

Obviously others have poked many holes in what was said by Trump. I will say it was far tamer than I expected including real fear he would try to use emergency finding to build the wall without the support of Congress. I would say this was closer to bias than lies. The worst part of it is that, on the surface, his arguments appear rational without using overt falsehood to support them. It is only with some evaluation that his conclusion that a wall will prevent drug trafficking and pay for itself as a result becomes obviously wrong. Not a lot of evaluation, but unless you are knowledgeable about the border and drug trafficking already or inclined automatically to mistrust the accuracy of Trump, nothing jumps out as unsound requiring further evaluation. Obviously every policy should be examined further. Except that is not the expectation of the general public to do. And even when done, if there is emotional appeal to the argument it tends to stick around as seeming right even when it has been readily debunked.
