And, as for the question, I prefer both. I like a decent amount of bass but I also like treble so music doesn't sound muffled.

Music requires balance. If there is excess bass, it sounds like horrible demented thump thump thump repeated over and over again crap. Like, the perfect recipe to a migraine.

If it's got way too much treble, it sounds like what I imagine the inside of a tin can to sound like.


Thus, Balance is the answer.
