There was a comic of the Transformers vs. The GI Joes way back when and I have it somewhere.. hmmm.

Transformers rock though, I still have a bunch with the boxes and everything from when they first came out.
I bet they're worth something right now.

Why do the cartoons of today suck so bad? With exceptions to a few, like Gundam Wing, the rest are just CRAP. BTW, my vote also goes to the Transformers. The toys rocked!

I liked both about equally.

Althought I think G.I.Joes were more fun to play with than Transformers.

Sure you could transform the transformers and roll them or fly them around like vehicles but G.I. Joes were cooler because they were more posible and you could do all kinds of things with that. I made a stop motion movie once with them.

Ooooh... tough call. My 2 favorite toys and cartoons of my childhood... very tough call, like asking a parent which kid is their favorite. On one hand you have bad ass robots who can transform and whose theatrical movie was one of THE most incredible movies I've ever watched (even now!). On the other hand, you've got military guys who had the most bad ass vehicles and weapons. My fave Christmas ever was when my dad gave me and my brother $20 and took us to Toys 'R Us so we could choose our own presents. I was conflicted whether to get the Cobra Raven jet plane or some other vehicle I don't remember. I ended up getting something, and when me and my bro went back to the car my dad surprised us with that huge mobile command center the Joes had. OMG, that thing was a beauty!!! Best Xmas ever... so I'll have to give my vote to the Joes in a squeaker.

See, to understand which cartoon is better, you have to understand how "better" is defined. It is defined thusly: whichever can beat up the other is better.

Thus, Transformers are better cuz optimus will lay the smack all over GI Joe.
