um... they're both really good, but neither is groundbreaking. Just more of the same for both bands. (after a really long wait, that is). I'd skip both and go with a (possibly older) cd by a band you've never heard before. You know, broaden your horizons and all. Try some Morrissey, Underworld, Shonen Knife, Cibo Matto; if you like Britpop, Techno, Pop-punk, or alternative respectively. And yes, I'm sure tons have you have already heard all of the bands I mentioned, just trying to provoke some thought...

The show was great... the music was extremely good.. much better than the CD... but the guys werent that nice... I met em.. and had small talk.. but like I said they were pretty much jerks...

Oh well

you thought they were jerks? it might be because they've been doing this hooptie tour for quite awhile and meeting fans and signing that many autographs can prolly get tiring. but i don't want to make excuses for them. when i met them at towers in los angeles, they were pretty quiet because everything was going so fast they ddin't have time to have a conversation with us. but i've met brian and pat accidentally before and they were WAY cool. pat can be real sarcastic tho hehe. 🙂

Tool doesn't have a singing voice in my opinion. It's too plain. His music is uninspiring. Weezer do a lot of cool singing. However, their first album is superior to thier new one.

no contest...TOOL...

Maynard James Keenan is a master in all that he does...🙂

Plus, if i'm going to spend $15 on a CD, it best have over a half-hour of music on it!!

I'll just say this... my main complaint was that this was an extremely small show... it was exclusive to winners of this local radio station contest... the idea was we were supposed to be "bowling with weezer" what happened was we bowled... then we went to the stage... no sign of Weezer previous to this... then they walk straight to the stage... and play a very short set... no complaints from me about that... I liked the set... then they left... about 10 minutes later they came back to sign autographs.. but they looked absolutely annoyed to be there... I dunno.. I'll give em the benefit of the doubt... maybe they were having a bad day... but they didnt have THAT many people to deal with... there were probably less than a hundred total..

It was still thrilling hanging around multi-millionaires and talkin on the cell phone after the show was over... even if they were not into being friendly... the drummer I will add was an exception.. that guy was very nice and was crackin jokes left and right...
