Flickr - love it, tons of features, impeccably easy to use.

Anything out there that is like Flickr? I like flickr but just realized that organization is not so easy.

I want to have the pictures in my photostream in the order taken, but flickr will only show them in the order that they were uploaded.

you can arrange stuff however you like on smugmug :)

Too many damn options in the poll, I don't know which to chose.

Edit: Where's the option for "I build my own"?

I understand what you're asking. I haven't really cared about that as I prefer to have them posted in the order they were uploaded; otherwise, my latest work on the website may be older content than what's already posted last. (I have priorities in my workflow)

Here's all flickr has to say about that topic:
Can I rearrange the photos in my photostream?

Your photostream always shows your most recently uploaded photos first. If you want to change the order, you can edit the posting dates for photos.

On each photo page, you'll see an Additional Information section on the right that includes the date the photo was taken. Click the "edit" link to change the date the photo was taken or posted.

I use Picasaweb. I was originally using a Coppermine gallery on a free ATOT account. I switched because I found Coppermine to have so many features that I'd never think of, yet none of the flexibility that I actually want. I'm currently entertaining the idea of using Picasaweb and the supplied API to customize my own front-end.

Yeah i found that section only. I wanted to upload some older pictures but didnt want them show up first.
I'm trying the Google Picasaweb seems nice. I need a photo network like flickr or picassa that all my friends can use easily also so we can share pictures.
I love the way Facebook works when it comes to pictures; tagging is fun.

I just upload to my own webspace. I don't use a fancy gallery setup though.. I may develop my own that will end up integrated with my entire website that I've been mulling over.

I like photobucket or imageshack better

I find flickr to be the faster of all... the web 2.0 interface is nice.

most of those seem crp except google... google is fast, free, and integrates with their awesome desktop APP

flickr is cool. i like their tagging system, album-by-map locator (for browsing public photos), etc... it looks like a NICE interface but a little difficult at the same time

all the other ones suck

I think i'm going to stick to Google for now... seem to being doing what i want and you get 1 gig free of space. No upload limits.

I used Shutterfly a bit before; it did a good job and was very easy to use.

I use Picasa exclusively now though. Fast, easy, and reliable.

Imageshack should be stricken from this earth.

 to that! Photobucket and Imageshack seem to be the worst and slowest for loading times. Smugmug and Flickr are where the speed is at!

My brother sent me a link to his Christmas photo album and the Picasa interface was very neat and quick. I prefer it much more over flickr's interface. And I think it offers more space too.

Photobucket for my need to have pictures and for avatars on forums. Imageshack for just the random picture I want to share here or with a friend or on another forum. bbzzdd for larger pictures.
